Problem SolversGENERAL MAINTENANCE:1. Sweep, dust mop or vacuum the floor often to keep the floor free of sand and grit. The combination of sand and leather sole shoes has the same effect as sandpaper on the floor finish. If the finish is damaged by abrasion of this type, dirt will attach much easier, making the floor more difficult to clean and to keep clean. 2. Damp Mop often using a solution of 2 to 3 ounces of RoVal Tile & Stone Cleaner to 1 gallon of clean water. This mild, but powerful, neutral pH cleaner is made specifically to rinse free and dry bright. Tile & Stone Cleaner contains no harsh acids, high alkaline caustics or phosphates that can damage delicate flooring. Avoid using household cleaners or mixtures such as vinegar and water, ammonia containing solutions or just plain tap water, as they can cause more harm than good. 3. Apply RoVal Reflecta Polish As wear patterns begin to develop in the high traffic areas, clean them with a solution of 4 to 6 ounces of RoVal Tile & Stone Cleaner to 1 gallon of clean water. Use a stiff nylon bristle brush or a white scouring pad for more stubborn areas. Allow the area to dry and "feather" the Reflecta Polish only into these areas. If overlap is visible, apply a thin coat of Reflecta Polish to the entire floor area to provide a uniform finish. For continuous floor maintenance, the Reflecta Polish can be diluted by adding 1 quart of clean water to every gallon of Reflecta Polish. Phone: 813.988.4910
